Focussing on the two 17th-century artists Adrian Vanson and Adam de Colone, this small exhibition presents the findings of a collaborative research project with paintings conservator Dr Caroline Rae, the Courtauld Institute of Art Caroline Villers Research Fellow. On display are a group of paintings from the National Galleries of Scotland collection which have been examined by Caroline using cutting-edge technology.
