A fascinating display which tells the story behind the building GoMA currently occupies from 1777 to present day. The permanent show informs visitors of the history of the building including a deeper understanding of the role slavery played in the narrative of Glasgow - from its wealthy tobacco merchants to its trade in cotton, sugar, coal and iron.
